Direct teaching of relational movement practices has been at the core of my embodiment work for the past two decades. These practices hold significant potential for healing and growth, but realizing their full potential requires discernment. My teaching is centered on developing discernment through awareness, perception, and receptivity.
Embodied relational practices make patterns visible in unique ways. In physical interaction, the gap between intention and impact becomes easier to perceive. Misalignment shows up quickly. Tension becomes tangible. Hesitation, overcontrol, unclear communication, and missed signals are no longer abstract concepts, but lived realities within the interaction itself.
Because feedback is more immediate, embodied practices are unmatched learning environments. Patterns hidden in other contexts can quickly become unmistakable when they are expressed through movement, touch, timing, and response. Embodied practices help develop clearer perception, more effective communication, and a more grounded sense of responsibility in relation to others.
My personal movement practice is deeply grounded in several distinct traditions, including multiple styles of dance, yoga, and martial arts, but my teaching is not bound to any single domain or discipline. Each modality offers a different entry point, while the underlying work remains consistent: developing clarity, responsiveness, and grounded interaction with others.
I offer in-person classes at select events and small group online trainings. Feel free to get in touch for more information.
